Slack is a team chat/collaboration tool.
QA Deputy integrates with Slack in a way that allows automatic communication to occur when key test events occur. For example, QA Deputy can post a notification to a Slack channel when regression starts, a bug is created, etc.
To Integrate with Slack:
1. Access Integrations Page: Click on Integrations from either the Dashboard or the Left Navigation menu.
2. Click enable on the Slack integration.
3. You will be redirected to the Slack authorization page. "Allow" QADeputy to access the Slack workspace you are integrating with.
4. You will then be redirected back to QADeputy. Next, click on "Manage".
5. Select the channel you want QADeputy to post message to. Additionally, you can toggle on/off QADeputy events you want to post to your Slack channel.
